NEW WAY BABBIT PIE Cut up the rabbit and boil the pieces in enough water to cover them till they are tender; season to taste. Thicken the liquid with a tablespoon of flour and a tablespoon of butter. Put tho rabbit in a pie dish, cover with two cups of mashed potatoes, and pour over tho whole the thickened liquid. Over the top pour a batter made of a cup of milk, an egg, two cups of flour, two tablespoons of butter, a teaspoon of salt and two teaspoons of baking powder. Put. the pic in the oven until it is done throughout and the crust is browned.
