CHURCH SERVICES
A very cordial invitation is extended to worshippers to conic to the Cuba Street Alethodist Church to-morrow. The minister, the Rev. J. D. All-Arthur, will take as his morning subject, “The Parable of the Seed Growing Secretly'/’ while the evening subject will be ‘Strength Out of Weakness.’ The church choir will provide appropriate music. Air. AlcArthur will conduct the usual service at Longburn at 2.30. “If you have no church home, make our’s your’s. ”
The special “Alouth of Alay" services which have been held in the St. Paul’s Methodist Church and which have been attended by such largn congregations will be concluded with a great Thanksgiving Day to-morrow, when Rev. J. Ernest Parsons will again preach at both services. The morning subject will be “New Life in Christ/' and the children's talk, which is always a marked feature of the service, will be “If I were King m Timbuetoo.” At the evening service the subject will be “Not Ashamed of the Gospel.’’ Air. Alan AlcLeavey will bo the soloist and there will be a song service commencing at twenty minutes to seven. All ho are looking for happy, helpful Gospel services will find their need supplied at St. Paul’s. Air. Parsons will also preach at Aokautcrc in the afternoon. At Alilson at 7 o’clock the preacher will be Air. H. Spencer Ratclifie. | The monthly Social Hour in connection with St. Andrew’s congregation will be held to-morrow after the eventing service. This provides a splendid opportunity for visitors and strangers to become acquainted with the members of the congregation. I A parade of the Oddfellows’ Lodge at Rongotea is to bo hold to-morrow evening in the Coronation hall, when Rev. \V. Gruvdy will give a special address to the members.
