.Messrs Dalgcty and Co., Ltd., Palmerston North, report having held a very successful clearing sale on account of Mrs F. G. Brown, Aorangi, on Wednesday, May 22. There was a largo attendance of buyers and the dairy cows met with very keen competition, the herd averaging £l3 15/-. The following were the prices realised: Best cows, £l4 £l4 10/-, £l4 15/-, £l6, £l7; others, £9 10/-, £lO, £lO 10/-. £ll 10/-, £l3; empty cows, £5 5/-, £5 15/-; 2yr heifers, r.w.b., £7 10/-, £8 10/-, £9, £9 10/-; iveaner Jersey heifers, £4 10/-; separator, £2l 10/-.
