OLD DWELLING AT BLENHEIM BURNED

A nine-roomed two-storey dwelling, tho home of Blenheim’s first Alayor, owned and occupied by Mrs. Jessie Vance, a widow, was gutted by fire this morning. The outbreak when discovered by a neighbour had a string hold. After a strenuous fight the brigade extinguished the flames. The house was insured for £450 and the contents for £3OO. The owner was absent at tho time of the outbreak, the origin of. which, is a mystery.
