STANDARD OP RECITALS IS WELL MAINTAINED Weather conditions in no way affected the attendance at the Opera House last evening, when the Manawatu Competitions were carried a stage further, the attendance being equal to that of the preceding nights. A truly excellent evening’s entertainment was provided and thoroughly enjoyed by a capacity house. As usual, only tho finals were held at night, the elimination tests having been put through during the day. Detailed results are as follows, visiting competitors only being designated:— MUSICAL.
