PLAUSIBLE AND DANGEROUS. FOUR YEARS. HARD LABOUR. Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, Last Night. “I have come to the conclusion that you are a plausible and dangerous man. Constitutionally you are evilly disposed. I have no hesitation in stating that where you are no child is safe and no woman is secure against insult. ’ ’ Thus denounced by Mr. Justice Herdman in the Supreme Court this morning, Bertram Augustine O'Connor (aged 35) was sentenced to four years’ hard labour for indecent assault and iadecent exposure. On each of two obscene language charges O’Connor was sentenced to three months’ imprisonment, the terms to be concurrent to the major sentence.
