Additions and extensions are being made to the phosphates plant at NauTii and Ocean Island to permit a further increase of output in the near future. According to the annual report of the British Phosphates Commission, tabled in the House of Representatives on March 22, the total output for the vear ended June 110, mas 501,00 S tons, of which .177,451) tons, or 75.20 per cent., rvcrc shipped to Australia, and the remainder to Is'cm Zealand.
