GIRLS’ MUSIC CLUB

The Girls’ Music Club hold their monthly meeting on Thursday evening in the Rosco tea-rooms, Miss Buchanan being hostess for the evening. Three new members, Misses J. Mawkinney, P. Hausman, and E. Wycherley, were welcomed. A most enjoyable concert programme was rendered, the items being as follow: Instrumental trio, (Mendelssohn) Misses E. and B. Elliot and G. Seifert; piano solo, “Impromptu in A Flat” (Schubert), Miss G Seifert; ’cello solo, “Grand Duo” (Golterman), Miss Eliott; piano solo, “Night Vision” (Schumann), Miss D. Rodgers; ’cello solo, “Slumber Song” (Squire), Miss E. Wycherley; piano solo “Barcarolle” (Ladow), Miss E. Gunter. A dainty supper concluded a most pleasant evening.
