The postal and telegraph revenue for the quarter ended March 31 wa? gazetted to-night. Tho total postal revenue was £458,193, against £5lO, OGj for the same period la3t year The total telegraph revenue for the first quarter of 1929 is £483,838, against £465.895. Tho total postal revenue in the four chief centres was as follows: —General post office, £108,683; telegraph revenue, £17,964; Auckland post office, £81,842 and £41,691; Christchurch, £41,407 and £31,104; Dunedin, £25,517 and £64,724; Wellington, £67,869 and £68,407.
