Further opposition to the possibility of the establishment of junior high schools in New Zealand was expressed at tho meeting of tho Southland provincial executive of the Farmers’ union yesterday, when advice of support to the stand taken in . the matter by Southland and Dominion executives was received from the provincial executives. The meeting decided to reform its opposition, “in view of the fact that the Minister of Education appeared to have decided in favour of the new system."
