TO ADVANCE HORTICULTURE

Mr. L. A. Denton, the honorary secretary of the Hawke’s Bay Council of the N.Z. Institute of Horticulture, announced at a meeting of that council held in Hastings on Tuesday evening that Mr. J. H. Edson had donated to the council for the furtherance of its work in Hawke’s Bay, paid up shares to the value of £IOO. The donation was accepted with thanks and deep appreciation of the kindly thought -yhich had manifested itself in this gift.
