He was met by the Lord Mayor, Sir Chas Wakefield and leaders of the motor industry. There was a long motor procession through a vast cheertug crowd to the Palace Yard, outside Parliament, where Capt. D. H. Hacking welcomed him on behalf of the Government, emphasisifife the fact that 29 manufacturers had a share in making the Golden Arrow. The least flaw in design, material or workmanship would have led to disaster, but the British product, as usual, stood the test.
