(From Our Own Correspondent.) SCHOOL COMMITTEE MEETS. The monthly meeting of tko school committee was held on Monday, when there were present Messrs W. Maxwell (chairman), C. Powell, J. Scheldt, It. Sinclair, W. Eggleton, F. Burton, and L. Pascoe. Tlic head-teacher reported a roll of 122, an average attendance of 114.75. The gramophone records had arrived. A letter in connection with the den-
tal clinic was held over for considers tion at the annual meeting. The visiting committee reported that the grounds were in good order. Weekly Shoot. The results of the weekly shoot were as follows: — J. Baker 136, H. Hughes 135, F Rosvail, L. Raikes 134, J. Jepson 133,. M. Watson 131, L. Burnell 129, A. Pedersen 12S, R. Mitchell 123, A. O’Donnell 122, H. Goro 122, A. Gee 121, H. Robson 120, H. Hardie 118, G. Duthie 115. All rifles have now been fitted with the latest Vickers sights and when tha members get used to them, there will be a big improvement in the shooting.
