’PLANE OVER PALMERSTON

SEVERAL PEOPLE MAKE SHORT FLIGHT OVER TOWN., A two-seater Avro aeroplane arrived at Palmerston North shortly after 9 o’clock yesterday morning from Masterton, after a trip of 45 minutes. The 'plane had Mr. Hcwett as pilot and Mr. C. M. Perry, of Masterton, as passenger. Capt. Steadman arranged soveral short flights with local residents and for the greater part of the day, until dusk, the hum of the engines overhead kept the groundlings interested. The landing ground at Milson proved quite suitable. Flights will be continued for a few days, if sufficient inducement, offers and tho 'plane will then proceed to Feilding.
