This is the New Zealand representative crew which won the eight-oar championship of New South Wales in 1925, and which gave the sport an impetus in the Dominion. The members of the crew were: A. H. Eastwood (Canterbury Rowing Club), coxswain, C. A. Healey (Wanganui), stroke, B. Sandos (Hamilton), No. 7. E. T. Hegglun (Blenheim) 6, W. J. Sergison (Avon Rowing Club), No. 5, W. Bayly (Hamilton), No. 4, G. W. St. Clair (Hamilton) No 3. F. H. Brown (Canterbury R.C.), No. 2, T. Johnson (Auckland), bow. The emergencies for the crewwere T. H. Grenfell (Union R.C. Christchurch), and W. Pinkham (Blenheim).
