SUNDAY RAILWAY EXCURSION TRIPS

The popularity of tho Sunday Tailway excursions was again in evidence last Sunday, when over 2000 excursion* ists travelled on the excursion train provided between Wellington and Palmerston North. In view of this response the Railway department has decided to repeat the excursions on Sunday next. Tho fares are at a very cheap rates; for instance, the return faro between Palmerston North and Wellington is 5s 2nd class and 7s Ist class. The rates between any two stations have been correspondingly roduced. excursion trains will run on similar times to last Sunday except that the return train from Wellington will leave fifteen minutes later, i.e*. 4.30 p.m., and arrive Palmerston Nocflj at BJLS pun* 1
