MORE SAVAGE ATTACKS ON TIMBER WORKERS

Received Tuesday, 7 p.m. SYDNEY, March 19. , More savage attacks presumably by strikers were made upon volunteer workers going home from the Rozelle timber mills. Iron bars were used by the attackers but their quarry fought back and put them to flight. The mill foreman was also attacked when near his homo but managed to escape uninjured. Charles Hopner was remanded on a charge of inciting three unknown persons to assault James Stevenson, a timber worker*
