GENERAL ELECTRIC SHARES JUMP

Those who protested against the socalled British issue of General Electric shares are delighted that the shares which were 50s on Friday reached 68s at mid-day yesterday, closing at 655, in consequence of the postponement of the new issue pending the agreement with the United States and others interested*.
