Robot tom, of Hawke's Bay left, on a deep sec fishing excursion al, the Bay of Islands and met with unusual success. lu three days the party lookfour swordfish and one mako shark—a record of which many deep sea anglers would be proud, for the fish are rarely secured so easily. The details arc as follows: Air Short, two swordfish 1891bs and 23SIbs; Mr F. Elliott, Swordfish 2761b5; Air Bobottom, swordfish 2351b5. The shark weighed 3591b5. Air Short is having the lic-ad of one of his catches mounted. Alessrs Short and Bobottom returned to Feilding yesterday.
