SUCCESSFUL AUTUMN SHOW AT RONGOTEA

At the Bongotea. Horticultural Society's autumn show held yesterday, (hero was an excellent display of dahlias and cut blooms. The domestic display was again good while the fancy work was in itself: a predominating feature. Mr. G. H. Bennett, of Palmerston North, in opening the show, congratulated the society on the excellence of the •displaju He wondered why he was asked to open the show because he was not an M.P. or a public nmn but he supposed that, it was because be was such a groat lover of flowers.
