COLLISION WITH SERVICE CAE. Per Press Association. DANNEVIRKE, March 17. A young man, George H. Dick ,emplayed at the post office at Waipawa, when going to Stratford to his parents’ home to spend the week-end, met with a serious accident when riding a motorcycle near Mangatera on Saturday afternoon. While he was negotiating a hill bend, the cycle skidded on some shingle and a collision occurred with a service car belonging to Martin and Vernon, of Wanganui, which was proceeding north. Dick sustained severe injuries, a compound fracture of the left leg, a fracture of both upper and lower jaws, and a lacerated face. His condition is critical.
