The Prince of Wales, who it was recently announced, will act for the King at forthcoming investitures, yesterday conferred honours of knighthood at St. James’s Palare. He knighted Mr. Robert Greig, the British Minister at Bucharest, who was made a Knight Commander of St. Michael and St. George, in the new year’s honours list, and Mr. Justice Luxmore, who was recently appointed a Chancery Judge. These are the first accolades performed by tho Prince in London, although he has acted for the King ih this duty during his tour of the Dodinions.
