Sir Gerald Strikland, in tho course of a statement in Parliament, said tho Roman Catholics could only continue the fervent observance of their religion in Malta when they had ready appeal to Romo if the bishops and other ecclesiastics made mistakes. No Premier or minister could carry out his work unless that door was kept widely open.
