MAGISTRATE’S COURT

BY LAW CASES. Mr J. L. Stout S.M. presided over yesterday’s siitings of t'he Palmerston North Magistrate’s Court. For riding a bicycle without a light in Featkerston street, A. Or. N. Simpson was fined 10s with 3s costs. A statutory first offending inebriate was fined 10s, in default 24 hours imprisonment. C. Terry pleaded guilty to a charge of not parking his car parallel to the footpath. The police stated that the vehicle was 20 feet from the kerbing. Defendant was fined 10s with costs to a similar amount. A. K. Sykes was fined 10s with 3s costs for riding a bicycle in Euahinc street without a light.
