SAVILE CUP POLO TOURNEY

COMMENCES APRIL 4. ELEVEN TEAMS WILL COMPETE. Polo plavers and followers of the game will assemble in Feilding directly after the Feilding Jockey elub’s Easter race meeting for the annual Savile Cup Polo tournament. Eleven teams have entered for the three competitions, the games (for which, are expected to ooeupv eight playing dajs. The premier competition will bo for the Savile Cup, the other competitions feeing the handicap cup and the junior cup. The Feilding Polo club has entered two teams and there will be teams present from Christchurch, Waikato (3), Hawke's Bay (2). Southern Hawke’s Bay (2), anxl Wairarapa. The first round of the Savile Cup contest will be plaved on Thursday, April 4. The Polo” sports and pony races will be held on Saturday afternoon, April 6 On Monday, the annual meeting of the association will bo held and on Wcdnesdav afternoon the final for the Savile Cup will bo staged. Por this match, the two best teams in the Dominion will meet.
