His owner thinks the horse may not race again. St. Ardent cost £825 as a yearling. His dam, the New Zealander, Probation, won races at Wellington, Ashburton and Wairarapa. Figure and Violian are acceptors for Tuesday’s Bourke Handicap and Nedda is engaged for Thursday's Ascot Vnlo Jb takes.
