COLEMAN WINS MOTOR CYCLING CHAMPIONSHIP

Meeting at Taratahi RADCLIFFE RIDES CONSISTENTLY Per Press Association. CARTERTON, Last Night. The Wairarapa Motor Cycle club motor sports were held on the Taratahi racecourse on Saturday afternoon iu glorious weather. The track was in splendid order and very fast. There were large fields and a good attendance. In tho first race, Crozior fell, AlLen somersaulting over him but the riders were unhurt though their machines were damaged. In the third race, F. Russell, a Wellington rider, left the track and crashed through the fence being seat to Masterton hospital with concussion and cuts. Results.

Novice Cup, 5 miles.—Lundius 1, Radeliffe 2, Rinaldi 3. Time 4.57 3-5. Won by 15 yards. Lightweight Championship, ’ 7 miles. —Morgan 1, Kilmistcr 2, Goodwin 3. Time, 6.58 4-5. Won by half a mile. Five Milo Handicap, B class.—Sutherland 1, Radeliffe 2, Rinaldi 3. Time, 4.44 4-5. Won by 10 yards.

Championship of New Zealand, 12 miles.— P. Coleman .. .. .. . • • • • • 1 D. Managh 2 W. Allen 3 The only starters. Time 10.17 l-o. Won by half a lap.

Open Handicap, 7 miles, Harker 1, Wilkinson 2, Ross 3. Timo 5.49 2-5. Won by 30 yards. Vincent Cup, 8 miles— Wilkinson 1, Morgan 2, Radeliffe 3. Time, 7.19 3-5. Won by 300 yards.
