THE DANNEVIRKE SHOW

The popular autumn fixture—the annual show of the Dannevirke A. and P. Association—is rapidly approaching, and it is essential that intending exhibitors and patrons should note an important change in the days. On this occasion the show—to meet tho request of neighbouring kindred societies—will bo held cn Tuesday and Wednesday, February 32th and 13tli—instead of on Wednesday and Thursday, as has been customary since the society has been holding a two day fixture. It is hoped that in thus acceding to tho wish of the neighbour 4 ing societies the Dannevirke Association will bo doing them a good turn and that it will also stimulate a spirit of reciprocity in the districts thereby affected in the manner of entries. Tho ram fair will follow the show, taking place on Thursday, February 14th. Those who liavo made a practice of competing at Dannevirke in any of the various sections should at once make themselves conversant with tho attractive schedule for this year’s gathering. It has been subjected to careful revision, and so many new classes have been included, that enumeration is practically impossible. Breeders, horse owners, cattle owners, the housewife, dog fanciers and many others have been attractively catered for, many handsome trophies figure in the schedule, and tho prize money throughout' is on such a liberal scale that it should attract uniform competition in all sections. Schedules can bo obtained on application to the secretary, Mr. H. S. M. Quigley, Danncvirkc, or any information required concerning the show.

The committee has decided that the grounds he electrically lit and open to the. public each evening from 7 to 10 p.ni. Members’ tickets and complimentarics arc 'not eligible for admission on these evenings, the admission being adults Is and children fid, cars Is.
