Dnlgcty and Co. Ltd. report that on tho second day of the first Manawatu and West Coast Stud Shoed Fair held nt Feilding on Thursday, a modcrato entry comprised chiefly of rams was penned and a small lot of Ryeland rams and Southdown ewes also came to hand.
Competition was limited strictly to the good sheep offered, anything below a high standard not meeting with any competition. Our sales were e.s fet low:—On account of H. Burrell and Son, 1 1-shear S.D. ram 87gns. to Estate of W. Page, Halcombo. On account of Ellis Bros., Bulls, 1 1-shear S.D. ram “Killcymoon'4o3” 60gns., to A. Tabuteau, Kawa K:*wa, Bay of Islands. On account of H. J. Fagan, Sanson, 1 1-shear S.D. ram ‘‘Willowdeno 12 ” 25gns., to J. McDonell, Marton. On account of Henson Bros., Feilding, 5 1-shcar S.D. owes at signs; 8 M.A. S.D. ewes at 3gns., to W... Johnston, Hutt.
