Police and over 100 civilians yesterday combed the scrub around Kentucky, on George’s river, for the two-year-old boy, Leslie Fawcett, who mysteriously disappeared from, a sulky whore he wa3 left asleep. It is not known whether the child was carried away by an unknown person, or whether he wandered into the bush. It is feared that the hoy may have fallen into tho river, which the police dragged for hours but without result.
