GAME AT LAUNCESTON. Australian Press Association. Received Tuesday, 2.0 a.m. LAUNCESTON, Jan. 14. The match Tasmania v. England was continued at Launceston cricket ground in fine weather to-day. The Englishmen resumed their first innings and gavo a bright display, a feature of which was Jardine’s sparkling performance in compiling 214 in 248 minutes. Ho hit 26 fours and gave chances at seven, 103 and 136. Mead compiled his first century of the tour, reaching 100 in 114 minutes. England declared with eight wickets down for 482.
