A NEW NOTE IN AIRPLANES.—This parasol plane, the invention of Mr. R. H. Van Wie, of San Francisco, is fitted with two nose propellers which rotate in opposite directions. The entire top is shaped like a parasol and it is hoped to make the plane a practic able proposition by the use of modern equipment. The inventor has spent 10 years working out his scheme.
