ALLEGED BRIBE FROM RUSSIA. United Press Association —By Electrii Tel egraph—C opy right. Received Friday, 7.35 p.m. WASHINGTON, Jan. 11. Senator Borah lias begun an independent investigation to ascertain tho perpetrators of the forged documents, whose contents, published to-day, disclosed that he and Sonator Norris ostensibly received a sum _ to obtain American de juro recognition of the Soviet. Senator Borah also declared that the State department should call upon the Russian government to run the matter down. << My government owes it to me to clear it up,’’ he said.
