DANNEVIRKE A. AND P. ASSOCIATION
The 20th. annual show of the Dannevirke District A. and P. Association is to be held on the Showgrounds, Dannevirke on Tuesday and Wednesday, 12th, and 13th. February, 1929. ' At the request of the Pahiatua A. and P. Association the Show dates have been changed to Tuesday and Wednesday in lieu of Wednesday and Thursday, on which days the Shew has always been held in the past. There are the usual classes for saddle horses, competitions, ail breeds of cattle, of which the Jersey breed are most liberally catered for in the way of prize money. The Dannevirke District Jersey Cattle Club, together with the New Zealand Jersey Cattle Club subsidy have increased prizes in their section to the extent of £23. Purebred sheep classes, fat sheep, and lambs, pigs, school exhibits, butter and cheese and home industries. A new class has been added for fleece wool. A special feature of the Show is the splendid dog show run by the Dannevirke Kennel Club in conjunction with the A. and P. Association, and which is ever increasing each year. Schedules are now available and one will be sent to anyone interested on application to the secretary, H. S. M. Quigley Box 38, Dannevirke.
