FORTNIGHTLY MEETING. N.G. Bro. A. Ohurcher presided at the fortnightly meeting of Loyal Manchester Lodge, M.U. Oddfellows, held on Wednesday evening. ■ The latest valuation of the lodge discloses a surplus of £I4OO and this amount is by resolution set aside to redeem members’ future contributions. After I lie general business and accounts had been disposed of, members adjourned to the Foresters’ hall and played a card tourney against the Foresters for the Dick and Lindsay cup. The game resulted: Oddfellows 25, Foresters 13. Captain Deane (Foresters) handed the cup to Captain Levy (M.U.)
