FRENCH SHIPS LOST IN STORM

It is feared 27 wero drowned during the sinking of the French freighter Malakolf during a storm off the Baloarics and all hope of their rescue has been abandoned. Thirty-eight of the crew of the trawler Pacifique have been missing since the gale in the Mediterranean at Christmas time.
