Foxton
From Our Own Correspondent. Motor Accident Victim. The funeral of the late Mr. 0. L. Anderson, the young man who lost his life as a result of a motor accident on New Year’s Day, took place on Friday afternoon. A large and representative gathering of citizens attended to pay the last respects to the deceased. A short service was held at the residence of the deceased’s parents, the Rev. W. H. Walton officiating, after which a serVico was held in All Saints ’ Church. The vicar, in a touching address, referred to the young life so suddenly terminated and reminded the congregation that in the midst of life wo are in death. A large number of floral tributes boro silent witness to the esteem and respect in which tho deceased young man was held. The following acted as pall-bearers: Messrs. ,T. Newton, S. Wright, J. Williams and Findlay, representing the P. and T. Department, and Messrs. R. 0. Hornblow and A. W. O. Stevenson, representing the Foxton Football Club, of which deceased had been a member for several years.
