Nominations for all events close with tho Secretary, Ashhurst, on SATURDAY, JANUARY sth, at 9 p.m. Weights will be declared on or about THURSDAY, JANUARY 10th. Acceptances close on MONDAY, 14th JANUARY, at 9 pm. NOTE,—Telegraph Office closes at 8 p.m. Penalties. The winner of any race,; after declaration of weights may be re-handi-capped. A. W. Rules and Regulations. 1. All Athletic events run under the Rules of the N.Z. Amateur Athletic Association. 2. All prizes for athletic and noveltyevents; trophies. 3. In all horse events, the committee to decido the course; two baulks to disqualify. 4. All entries must, be in half hour with the secretaries before each event. , 5. All events post entry. Handicaps for events 9 and 14 wUI be declared on the grounds. 6. Tho decisions of the judges shall be final in every competition. 7. All protests to be in the hands of the secretaries not later than one hour after the event in dispute. S. All disputes to be settled by the general committee and its decision to bo absolutely final . 9. Competitors when nominating for events 9 and 14 must send in results of the last two performances. 10. In all events; 3 competitors or no competition; 5 or no second prize. 11. The committee reserve the right to delete, or make any alterations on tho programme; of refusing any entry, or abandoning the sports if necessary by weather or other circumstances of which it shall be sole judge. 12. All prizes to be claimed immedi ately after sports, otherwise it will not be recognised. REFRESHMENTS ON THE GROUNDS. HOT WATER PROVIDED FREE. Admission: Adults 1/6; Children over 12 years Gd; under 12 free. Motor cars 1/-; Horses and vehicles 1/-: Horses !/•; Members and Members' Cars free. DANCE IN THE EVENING.
