AIRCRAFT EXHIBITION FOR LONDON IN 1929
EVERY TYPE TO BE REPRESENTed I LONDON, Oct. 22. The first All-world Aircraft Exhibition since 1920 will be held at Olympia from July 16 to 27, 1929. It will embrace every type of aircraft and equipment and an effort is being made to collect planes used on historic flights.
The exhibition will be under the auspices of the Society of British Aircraft Constructors, Ltd., by arrangement with the Air Ministry, which is closely interested. The secretary said he hoped that every country would participate, and there would possibly be a special Dominions section. The society was approaching the various Australian air authorities with the object of securing prominent Australian representation.
In all likelihood there would be an historical section ,for which Boss Smith’s, Hinkler’s and other notable madhines would be , welcomed.
