REFUSAL TO WORK WITH NON-UNIONISTS
MARCH TO FACTORY GATES,
Sun Cable. Received Wednesday, 11.25 p.nv LONDON, Oct. IQ. Seven hundred tailoresses arc striking at Edmontoil owing to an employers refusal to discharge a non-unionist. They marched four abreast to the factory gates, bearing a banner, on which was the announcement of their adherence to trade union principles, written in foot-long red letters with with their own lipsticks.

Between 12,000 and 15,000 employees of the American Railway Express Company went on strike at midnight. The cause has not been divulged. It pffects all greater Now York.
