LANTERN LECTURE BY GOVERNMENT APIARIST. Yesterday, Eotarians were treated to a fascinating lantern lecture on “ Beekeeping*' by,the, Government. Apiarist, Mr. D. S. Robinson., .Rotarian G. G. Priest, presided. The luncheon room was suitably darkened for tlio occasion, and the lecturer held the rapt attention of all, as slide after slide showing different phases of the industry was projected upon the screen. The various processes from the hiving of a new swarm to the separation -of the honey from the comb wore projected upon .the sheet; whilst the concise explanations of Mr. Robinson added what information was not given through the slides. With such a good subject dealt with by an expert in so. fascinating a manner, a most educational a? well as highly interesting half, hour was spent.' ‘ Rotarian .G. T.
