WHANGAREI, Oct. 8.

F. W. Webster, secretary, whose name was twice previously suppressed by a Justice of the Peace, appeared on remand before the Magistrate, Mr. Luxford at the Court to-day charged with failing to account for £235,_ the property of the Whangarei Terminating Building Society. Suppression of his name was refused and accused was remanded for a week in his own surety of £250. The Senior-sergeant stated that nine further counts were pending, involving approximately £l-100.
