LOCAL SUMMER TIME BILL TO BE DISCUSSED IN HOUSE TO-MORROW

WELLINGTON, Last Night. , It is expected that further progress on Government Bills will be made when the House of Kepresentatives resumes to-morrow, and Thursday may also be devoted to that purpose. Now that the Estimates are under consideration, efforts will be .made to have laid on the table as quickly as possible the annual reports of the various Staie Departments, and a further sheaf of these may be expected duripg the weolc. On Wednesday members'will be p<£sented with answers which ..they arc awaiting to questions duly given notice of, while on the same day private members who have Bills before the will have an opportunity to have them rllqfUßqpfl The first on the list is Mr. T. K. Sidoy’s Summer-Time (Local Empowering) Bill, which seeks to enable local bodies to introduce daylight saving in their districts. ■ Mr. P .Fraser has on the Order Paper for the, same day the second reading of Ms Judicial Proceedings, (Eesalation of Eeports) Bill). On Friday progress will be made on the Estimates.
