THREE ROOMS' NUCLEUS FOR RUSSELL ST. SCHOOL
PLAN ALLOWS TOR ADDITIONS. Plans of the new school that the Education Department proposes erecting in Russell street have been received .by the secretary of the provisional committee, Mr. Eronstrom, Thq building will be practically a' replica' of the Hokowhitu school but it js proposed to erect only three class rooms with head-, master’s and assistants’ .rooms, for a start. Other class rooms can be added with ease as the demand warrants them. Por- the start the school will be/-L----shaped -with the .headmaster’s room forming the angle. By building on this plan each room will have light and sun •admitted from both sides.
