England won by an innings and 30 runs. , , The scores were:—-England 351, West Judies 206 and 115 (St. Hill 38)., Bowling for England, Freeman took five wickets for 39, and White three for 41. The "Daily News" cricketing correspondent describes the finish of the Test as the tameSt for many years. The West Indies have much to learn before they can justify their new rank. With six; wickets in hand, requiring 74 to necessitate a second English innings, they petered out unimpressively. Constantino was twice dropped. Freeman’s figures to-day were 9 overs, 14 rung, 3 wickets. For the match his figures were ton wickets for 93. He has taken 192 wickets this season.
