j Per Press Association. / INVERCARGILL, Last Night. The question of disposing of opossum skins by poachers arose at a sitting of the Police Ccfnt this morning before Mr Cr. Cruickshank, S.M., when Francis Thomas Vernon Kingsland, licensed broker, was charged with that ho failed on receiving, 177 opossum skins from .Thomas' Jacks'on Smith to make entries in a register kept for that purpose qf the correct name* address and occupation of the person from whom the skins were obtained. He was also charged with being illegally in possession of opossum skins on March 27th', 1928, about the same time concerning which the first charge was laid. Defendant was lined £2O on a charge of being ■ illegally in possession cf opossum skins and £lO on the of failing to make entries in the register. - . ;
