RIFLE SHOOTING
There was a good muster of members at the weekly shoot of the B.S.A. Miniature Rifle Club’s shoot last Friday evening. The shooting being of a low standard. The following are the best scores.
Next week the B.S.A. Club’s Championships and handicaps Competitions will commence. The Nathan Cup will'bo over twelve shoots the best seven shoot out of the first - ten completed shoots to count. The Handicap competitions will run over a series of nights; first nine shoots out of twelve to count for Mira-Arna Cup. The first five out of six to count for thd Adeline Cup. The. system of handicaps for these Cups is not the same. Two, new systems are to be given a trial this season. ' ~" r /.i
The Manawatu Championship-will be held next Wednesday and Thursday night. The Clubs for -Wednesday night are, 8.5. A., Bunnythorpe, Oroua Downs and Ohakea; Thursday night, Bulls, Linton, Bangiotu, Awahnri. Members from the newly-formed Moutua Club are invited to shoot either night.
