TWO DAYS STRANDED ON NORTHERN ISLAND
COUPLE PICKED UP BY SCOW. Per Press Association. WHANGAREI, East Night. This afternoon Captain Norton of the scow Moa picked np on Hen Island Thomas Donovan and his wife, whoso auxiliary fishing launch Hillary registered number 105, Auckland, stranded on the rock at the island on Tuesday last. , • , The woman was somewhat exhausted, but' otherwise neither suffered ill effects. . . The Moa conveyed the couple to their homo at Taurikura Bay in Whangarei Harbour. Given calm conditions it is expected the launch can be refloated.
