TOKYO. . Reorganisation of the Kcul Pang, the educational system in Koreh prior to the country's annexation by Japan, is to be undertaken. During, the past 20 years of Japanese ■Administratiori, more than 1300 common schools have been .established in Kavea for Koreans with
a total enrollment of more than 430,000 .students, /, . ■■
Existing side by side with the Japanese educational system is the Keul Pang, which dates back for many centuries. -There are more than 16,900 Kepi Pang schools, or groups of students, 1 which give instructions to 200,■OOO young Koreans. Instead of abolishing the Keul Pang,’ the Japanese Government hopes to modernise its curriculum and bring it mto line with pre-“scnt-day education, adding courses; in ■geography, science, and other modern subjects.
