FAMILIES OF ALL SONS

There is a family in San Pedro, California, in which tho tendency is so strong that for four.generations no daughter has been born, although there have been thirty-five : sons. The founder of the American branch of this family was' the'- youngest of nineteen boys. Ho, in turn, hart tvrelvc sons, one of whom married an Englishwoman in Canada. They had one son, who married and had three sons. It is regarded as highly improbable that chance could be the only reason for this tendency. A study is being made by tho Eugenics Records Office of such one-sex families in an effort to discover Ihcir cause.
